2017 JA JobSpark Media Highlights!
Thank you so much for leading this event, you have certainly changed lives for the better!
To see all the excitement on the young people’s faces makes it all worth it. Can’t wait until next year.
Our 8th graders had a fantastic time yesterday. They left JobSpark excited about their futures. Once again, you’ve done a fantastic job igniting the possibilities for our future generation of leaders! Thanks for having us!
We took about 560 kids yesterday and they LOVED it! Many of our 60 chaperones were parents, and they were blown away by what they saw. We are all so grateful for the invaluable experiences you provided for our children. We are already looking forward to next year! In fact, our 7th graders today are asking if they will get to go after hearing our 8th graders talking so much about it.
Love it!! Can’t wait for next year! Thank you for putting on such an excellent event! I was truly wowed!
I am blown away by what this team has accomplished for so many young people and I’m grateful for the invaluable gifts of time and talent you have each contributed. I can hardly believe what I saw over the last two days. I’m awed and inspired, and I know the minds of our kids are alive with powerful dreams about their future. And it’s only possible because of this group. Thank you all so much for your belief, persistence and energy.
On behalf of Lebanon Community School Corporation, I would like to thank you for allowing our 8th graders to participate in the JA JobSpark yesterday. The students gained valuable insight into each of the career cluster areas and the Lebanon Middle School staff was impressed by the experience. We greatly appreciate you opening this opportunity up to our corporation and look forward to participating in future years if space is available.
Our kids and teachers LOVED the event! In fact, for our current freshman (who attended JobSpark last year), we have created a special day for them on October 25th to continue their job exploration. A couple of our kids are choosing to visit industry/schools related to activities they participated in last year. We are taking our freshman to 22 different locations on that day, while 10th and 11th graders take their PSATs.
